Shipping Policies

Sales tax

If your order is shipped to an address outside of Texas, you will not pay sales tax. All orders shipped within Texas will be subject to current sales tax rate.

Shipping

Items can be shipped to most addresses within the continental U.S.  Most accessories and small furniture items will be shipped  by UPS ground. We will ship by various LTL freight carriers and you are subject to the freight company's policies. LTL Freight Carriers will only deliver to your driveway. It is the customer’s responsibility to move items into their home. Please have enough assistance to move the shipment off the truck and into the home. Drivers will not assist in moving items into the home.  

The customer must present or have someone present at time of delivery.

Delivery Restrictions

Your delivery address must be accessible by delivery truck. Freight companies will not delivery to remote areas, unpaved roads, etc. The customer will be responsible  to organize a means of transportation from delivery truck to their location if the delivery truck cannot reach the delivery address due to road restrictions. Customer Responsibility

We ship our furniture boxed and or strapped to a pallet. The customer must inspect all boxed items for damage before signing the delivery receipt. Report any damages to the driver immediately. If any items are damaged it must be noted on the delivery receipt. Save the copy of customer receipt. Texas Rustic inspects all furniture before it is shipped. We highly recommend having all shipments insured which will incur additional fees. If you receive a damaged shipment from UPS Ground, the customer must report all UPS damages to Texas Rustic within 3 days in order to file a claim and correct the issue.It is important that you notify the delivering carrier in writing at once and request an inspection of the damage item. Texas Rustic is not responsible for the items once they leave our location. You should refuse delivery of any merchandise that is visibly damaged. When damaged products are refused and notice of damage is recorded on the driver's delivery receipt, Texas Rustic will file all necessary claims with the shipping company to remedy the situation. If damages are not noted at time of delivery and merchandise refused, you could incur additional delays and or expenses to correct the damage item, plus incur shipping charges.
